The student has knowledge about fundamental processes that determine the toxicity of drugs, both in terms of exposure to (pharmacokinetics) molecular reactions caused by the drug as well as their clinical effects. She/he has insight in the principles of techniques and testing methods for the evaluation of toxicity. This includes methods to predict toxicity in humans and the reliability of such a prediction.
The student can perform scientific (literature) research in the field of ADME-Tox, analyze this research, and can report this research both written and orally in English.
