Career prospects
(national/international)
The track Pharmacoepidemiology fulfils the need for excellent scientists in the area of pharmacoepidemiological research and pharmaceutical health care policy, especially with regard to the prevention and treatment options in ageing countries.
Career prospects are good because of a lack of specialized pharmacoepidemiologists and numbers of vacancies at universities and pharmaceutical industry, national and international. At governmental organizations as WHO, ECDC, Lareb, Ministries of Health, Health Councils, EMA, expertise is required to develop evidence based policies.
